Climate Camp Scotland is happening on the 22nd - 29th July and we are keen to make it an amazing week filled with amazing events including workshops, music, skill shares, talks and everything else! If you would like to run one of these events please fill in the form below and we will get in touch to hopefully make it happen!

We'll be choosing proposals so there's a balance of action-focused, issue-based, creative and practical workshops. We want to help people build their confidence around direct action, preparedness against repression, and other forms of activism. We also want to provide opportunities to discuss and learn about issues in the climate movement, while also offering space for people to have fun and express themselves (e.g. through art or music)

To give you some ideas, The Climate & The Far Right Theme specifically covers:

• Targeting fossil fuel companies that help sustain far right regimes

• Acting against a climate and far right target, not individuals

• Preparing to defend marginalised groups

• Preparing to resist increased state & police repression

• Connecting ourselves to communities already fighting fascism

• Prioritising wider accessibility

While covering the topics of the theme, we also want to minimize alienating people and focus on our collective struggle. However we are accepting a wide range of workshop topics and we'd love to hear any of your suggestions!

We'll be prioritising more hands-on rather than theoretical workshops as this tends to keep people more engaged and energised, but we're open to all suggestions.

Please note that this is a volunteer-led camp so resources are limited, especially electricity.
